At this time of the year I usually think of the most memorable moments of the last 12 months. This year I don't want to have them published anywhere. So I made a list with the 10 first thoughts that come to my mind when thinking about 2008. I came up with a first version a couple of weeks ago which was like this:

1. Quit job
2. Quit next job (3 days later the financial crisis started)
3. Picked up Carolien in Belgium and flew with her to our highschool reunion in Canada
4. Met our long lost friend Lulu at the reunion. Hadn't seen her for 20 years.
5. (thought not for public)
6. Hoping all the shit is coming to end by 31.12.2008
7. Being grateful for the amazing amount of friendship and support
8. Missing Sarajevo
9. Orchids grow when you water them
10. A friend who doesn't have anything sharing his little belongings with me when he thought I needed them.

By now the order has changed a little and no. 6 won't work since I'm sick, got visitors and can't go anywhere until 5 Jan.
